GET THE LOOK: HEAVY METAL

TREND ALERT: Gray is still going strong this Fall in rooms and on the runway. Leave the gray skies behind and venture to the darker side of the color palette to bring depth into your space. There is something unbelievably mysterious and sexy about heavy metal especially in interior spaces...but if you aren't married to a rockstar, clearly these rooms are the next best thing.

Achieve this look with dramatic contrasts of black, white, and gray. Next, embellish your look with pretty, shiny things. THINK SPARKLE. Silver, gold, diamonds, sequins, and nailheads all have reflective qualities that will take your style to the next level. Feeling daring? Add a bit of zebra print to the mix to satisfy that "wild hair."

I was very much surprised to see how cheap the sofa was...Love that, not sure how practical it would be in a house with children, not sure if it would go over well with plastic on it!! Chic nonetheless!

Very striking! I recently saw a post featuring gray rooms with a dash of brass, which was also amazing, this post made me think of it. I love that chandelier...sigh.

Grey is the trend, huh? Trend must be peeking in my littlebook. I just purchased a vintage settee very similar in design for $20. I'm currently looking for the perfect fabric. That chandelier is fabulous, ans spot on with the zebra, you must always have a hint of the wild side.

Haha! That EXACT gray couch has been in my (virtual) overstock cart for at least 2 months! It is so good looking and at such a killer price that even though I have no place for it right now, I keep my eyes on it! I think I need that chandelier and those shoes, too =)
