BLULABEL BUNGALOW CONTRIBUTOR: TIFFANY SCALES

Food Recipes CookingHow often do you enjoy delicious meals made in your own kitchen? With the hustle and bustle of life we tend to grab convenience foods while on the go and dinner...well, it ends up being an after thought.

Since becoming a mother I've had less time to devote to meal preparation, but what I realize is that I have to make time.

What I love most about our newest contributor, Tiffany Scales, is that she provides recipe ideas that are easy, tasty, and healthy. One of her goals each meal is to insure that she has the freshest ingredients available to her.

Cooking my family a scrumptious meal has now become one of the most enjoyable parts of my day. With Tiffany's help, you too will find (or rediscover) the joys of cooking.
Please welcome Ms. Tiffany Scales to BluLabel Bungalow!

Hi there! My name is Tiffany and I am the author of Savor Home. I am incredibly honored to join the BluLabel Bungalow family as a food contributor. Delicious, fresh food is a huge part of my everyday life, so I am excited to share some of my favorite eats with you.

I admit that I have always loved food, but haven’t always loved to cook. Five years ago today, I probably came home from work and popped a TV dinner in the microwave. I found cooking to be daunting and too time-consuming. But hours of watching Food Network, a new kitchen and my blog have significantly changed my thought process. I have a full-time job (very full at times), but I always take the time to make good, home-cooked meals. I have realized that with the right tools, an inspiring environment and a plan, cooking can be completely enjoyable and stress-free.

I have also developed a love for baking. I love sweet treats, especially chocolate. Is it crazy that I enjoy the preciseness that is required of baking, too? Well I do, so don’t be surprised if you see some tasty treats every now and then!

Photobucket Photography makes me just as happy as a fresh meal and a chocolate cupcake. I discovered that about a year ago. Isn't it amazing what a little time will tell you about yourself? I love snapping photos, so all of the photos you will see will be original unless otherwise stated. I look forward to sharing my love for food with you!

Thanks again Erika for the opportunity!

BLULABEL BUNGALOW CONTRIBUTOR: ABRA LEE

If you didn't know, there's something wonderful happening here on BluLabel Bungalow! It's been almost three years since I started this blog and I swear I have the most loyal, supportive readership out there. You all are more like family! In an effort to diversify the content, I've added a few talented contributors to the mix. After all, you deserve it! I tried my best to wait and kick off things in January, but I am way to excited to announce the new garden contributor, Abra Lee!

Hello everybody my name is Abra Lee and I am thrilled that Erika asked me to join the BluLabel Bungalow family as garden contributor. Garden design is my passion so I always keep my eyes and ears open and camera close by to capture inspiration that benefits everyday gardeners. My message to you will be simple design concepts that can be applied to any garden.

For over a decade I have lived the landscape lifestyle and spent time practicing my skills in many places including commercial landscape companies, an independent garden center, private residences, an interior plant firm, and an international airport. I was further schooled on the beauty of nature at Auburn University where I graduated with a degree in horticulture. Even more important than these experiences are the many gardeners and mentors I’ve met whose influence taught me the lessons I get to share with you.

So you know I AM A GARDENER and I also want you to know that I AM A PROUD SOUTHERN GAL and Georgia is always on my mind. Growing up in Atlanta I spent many days playing outside and in its many beautiful parks. On weekends I headed down to Barnesville, Georgia exploring the excitement of gardening on a rural farm.

"With one foot in the city, the other in the country, and both hands in the garden I was destined for a career in the outdoor classroom."

I believe gardening takes patience, creativity, lots of love, and maybe even the occasional pep talk to keep your plants happy. There’s always work to be done, questions to be asked, and mistakes to be made. By implementing one design idea at a time and nurturing your plants, the garden will reward you. I look forward to sharing my stories and learning from yours too!
